It's Not The Economy, Stupid. It's Equality!

Insisting "it's the economy, stupid," distracts us from achieving our supposed social and political ideals of equality, especially when the economy we insist on creating time and time again demonstrates it generates only greater inequality. What if we created an economy in line with our supposed ideals instead of thinking our ideals will counteract our economic system? Some food for thought on MLK day 2019.
