"Feed the Beast, Starve the People: How GOP Tax Policy Works Against Life Itself"

While Americans can often find the promise of a tax cut seductive, here I propose that tax cuts mean less money in your pocket and less services available to you--a weaker and more expensive public education system, a weaker public sphere. I suggest understanding the dynamic going on now as one that, as opposed to Grover Norquist's call to "starve the beast," we are actually feeding the beast but finding ourselves--we average Americans--being starved.
